Hi All, I was talking to a friend earlier and the question came up so I thought I'd ask. I'm aware that there are a number of top female "traditional" instructors (I trained under one myself for almost 15 years ) BUT does anyone know of any female "pragmatic" or "applied" karate instructors teaching self protection at a high level (by which I don't mean grade but skill)? Particularly in the UK but I'd be interested to hear if any body is really teaching from a Woman's perspective anywhere. Thanks

Not karate but rosi sexton and kelina Cowell are 2 names that seem to pop up when talking about quality female martial artists I have never met either but hear good things about both.
