Hi, Enso (Anthony) here saying hello. I'm not much of a forum guy and not much of a public karate guy either but I came across a post by Bob Davis and it seemed like he might have been thinking (at least in that post) like I do (to a small degree). Well, a little bit. Not many think like me these days. I don't typically do what most do. It's kind of hard to explain. My back ground is Shotokan but my training isn't much like Shotokan other than the kata I use. Actually if you're familiar with Mike Clarke who hosts the Shinseidokan Dojo blog shinseidokandojo.blogspot.com my training is close to what he does and he is Okinawan Goju! Odd, I know. However, my philosophies and my approach as far as karate in general is concerned is probably closest to this man here: Tommy Pressimone. I just finished his book "The Outer Circle, My Journey To Nowhere" and we are a lot alike. He too has a blog and it can give you an idea of my own thoughts on karate. outercirclekarate.blogspot.comAnyway, I'll start reading through the forum and we'll see how it goes. I'm trying my best, on my wife's advice, to get out more and make friends! Talk soon Anthony (enso)

Hi Anthony and welcome. Feel free to jump right in on any topic. Unfortunately the forum isn't what is used to be so we only get a few visitors these days (although it has it's moments still) so I don't know how many new friends you'll make, however it's a good start

Welcome Anthony! I personally love to see non-mainstream viewpoints to see what I can absorb into my own curriculum, though I'm currently very much a standard-issue Shotokan Shodan Thanks already for your links, some new content to go through! ______________ More sweat in training, less blood in battle
