For you Steve - half price!!!! ;D ;D ;D (just kidding!)
I'm still looking to start up some weekend meets - all welcome.

Hi Mal, have you thought of inviting Fujicolt (Steve Hyland) to do a course for you. He's been my senior instructor for over 25 years and never once has he came up and taught the same thing twice. His knowlege of shotokan karate is vast and he knows how to apply it, very well. He always gets the best out of you, and makes you think about your karate, and OK, you may think I'm being bias, but I'm not. I've trained with a lot of instructors over the 37 years I've been training, and Steve is the only one I've never found does the same old same old, which usually happens if you invite the same instructor regularly. You have nothing to loose by asking him, as he doesn't stay to far away from you, and I can guarantee that you wouldn't be disappointed

We did speak about it before Xmas but found we couldn't settle on a date and ran out of time, we also had a grading in December so most people would have been against paying out for another Karate event. Hopefully his kind offer is still there and he - or anyone else - is more than welcome to come and train or train with us. I may prompt him again soon to see if he can offer a few dates/times etc when he is available. I would be keen to attend the Friendship course as well.

Thanks Dod for your kind words - you failed to mention that I really only come to Scotland for the wonderful hospitality and a wee dram or several - LOL!
I would be pleased to visit your Dojo Mal (and anyones for that matter) P.m. and we can arrange something.
Everyone is welcome to the friendship course and the regulars are a fantastic group - most have been to everyone since i relaunched them a few years ago.
I like your idea of some weekend get togethers also.
