Clearly someone has now been to the Blackpool UK course held this weekend by Sensei Andre Bertel. I have seen some photos on Facebook of people I know with him.
How was it folks?
Hopefully eyes have been opened, and also minds!
Reports please.

Hello Rob
First off Andre sends his best wishes and hopes you are well.
The 2 day course was....AMAZING. So much covered in the 2 x 4 hour sessions on each day. Personal thanks to Sensei's Ron Bellwood and Michael Barr for their hosting of this unforgetable event.
The whole course emphasis was....no kime, sounds very strange when you think that karateka who have trained for a very long time and had kime literally drilled into them would immediately dismiss this concept. Take it from one who experienced his techniques with no kime, this simply takes a person's karate to another level and makes one aware of the actual true effectivenes of Asai Ryu karate.
On day two everyone was taught kata Seiryu which to the uninitiated looked like a lot of arm waving but when we were taught the Oyo of same everything began to fall into place and the "no kime" became very very apparent.
Meet loads of karateka throughout the two days and I can safely say that we all went home with so much further knowledge that we can intergrate into our own previous experiences and make our karate somewhat better and richer for it.
Best Regards Allan
