Has Dr Clive Layton published (or planning) a follow up to his 2007 book "The Liverpool Red Triangle Karate Club 1959 - 1966" ?

Hi Andy
Hope you are well.
I had a conversation some time ago with Mike Burton at Mona Books and he mentioned the possibility of a follow on book. Hope it comes to fruition.
How is Sensei Cope Snr and all his students?
Best Reagrds Allan

Hi Andy
I visit the site often, the picture showing "A young Andy Upton" reminds me of a young Terry O'Neill from the side with the beard and all!!
Everything is fine with me, I am 66 today and just getting ready to leave tomorrow for 2 weeks in Italy with my Wife.I just look after all my ailments and think that each day is the first day of the rest of my life.
Training concentrates on Kata and Kihon as Kumite can get a bit intense what with two hernia, hypertension and 3 disc prolapses with what is described as extensive degenerative change!! It is great to be back with my old club in Ormskirk with John Errington.
Last time I seen Frank Snr at the Bebington club (Wirral Grammar...could not train) we spoke of the early years at the Triangle and the apprehension of walking into the dojo (after peeping through the gap in the doors) wondering "who" has turned up to train!! Left a few teeth on that dojo floor.
Best Regards Allan
