That is quite odd :S It doesn't make sense that people en masse would prefer there left leg to their right... must be a preplanned tactic

I am guessing that left leg kicking first is a distraction technique to create an opening for the more dominant right leg to land a decisive kick etc... A bit like a boxer jabs with his left then goes for the knock out blow with his right.
