I train everyday for about 2-3 hours. I keep reading how it is better to have rest days to recover. Everytime I take a day off everything I can measure get worse and takes at least a day to get back in the swing of it.
After about 4 weeks I have finally taken a day's break as the lactic acid isn't clearing in my legs. I am now desperate to train. Perhaps an ice bath would be better but too wimpy to try it, stick to ice packs.
Everyone is different so its difficult to say, I havent been able to train for a little while but i personally train every day 1-3 hours and have the weekend off or at least one day, I know certain instructor courses train monday- friday and have weekends off but i suppose we all need a rest day at some point!
