sanchin dachi is a stance that I've personally not seen practiced many times before in shotokan.Somehow there seem to be different ways to perform this stance.I learned this stance during my kyokushin period like this: see at 1.29 mark:(toes of both feet turned inward) www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZXEpN3VovsI noticed that there are shotokan practicioners who perform the stance with the back foot pointing straight ahead.(in stead of turned inwards). Is there a general consensus how it should be performed in shotokan or does this depend on your instructor/dojo.....?
