I just watched this today, after seeing this thread the other day. Dod is correct when he says there isn't much of a story. The fight sequences are good, if not a bit over flourished with the acrobatics. Typical of most modern martial arts movies.
Naka Sensei's scenes are outstanding, from the kata scenes to his fight scenes. His scenes weren't over embellished, just good solid Shotokan. A joy to watch him do his karate.

Naka has a new movie out in Japan called Karate Girl. The same girl Rena Takeda is also in this one. Naka plays her father who was murdered by gangsters when she was a child. While the films are cheesy, Naka is always worth watching. I have all of Naka's films on DVD including his two instruction DVDs.

Where did you get his instructional DVD's ?
