Hi Andy
Can you still get Kamikaze merchandise via Kamae in Saltney Ferry which is just up the road from you?
Bought my dogi's over the years from Kamae, the last ones being 2 x Kamae Tournament late 2010. Great quality and fit.
Best Regards Allan

The last gi's I bought were from an online shop and from Kamikaze in Spain.

As much as I am tempted, they are a tad on the expensive side at around £30 each

Oh! and be mindful - if we are using the word Bunkai to mean application?s then forget it - NOBODY knows what the original intended 'applications' of the Shotokan Kata actually are. If we instead use the term - Implication/s then they are what they are - merely what someone has decided that the Kata movements may be implying they could/may be used for - they simply cannot be anything more. Now some of these devised 'Implications' can be very interesting and even helpful in expanding your understanding of Karate's possibilities as a Self Defence MA. Some are nonsense. ALL are there for you to discover if you think broadly and imaginatively. Your ability to think, imagine and explore is free - not £30. However - sometimes imaginative and anylitical thought needs a kick start and £30 may be deemed money well spent. as said i cannot help further as I have not seen these works. I'll personally choose to save my £30 for a while longer until I have more info
