Yes Hamid, it's very sad indeed. Everyone on here knows of this situation. But thanks for the link, I hadn't heard the sentencing had been completed.

We discussed it in length, it was very confusing at first to have someone that a lot of people looked up to and respected suddenly reduced to a "pervert".
It was a massive abuse of trust and sad that he wasn't found out sooner.
10 years? How can you put a price on the damage to his victimes? I know someone who had their childhood stolen and it takes years to recover and something that can never be replaced.

I knew and trained with him several times. Shocking and disappointing, however I think we should respect both families who have been undoubtedly devastated by this whole sorry mess and refrain from sensationalising it with hyperbole and emotive language.

we were all a bit shocked at this and some of us simply wanted more facts before we "went off" about it. Now that the dirty laundry is all been set out, its fair to say we have all come to terms with Harry and his perverse issues.
Justice has been served...even if we all think its a tad light the facts are he is a ruined man at this point and we pretty much have written him out of our Karate lives.
He affected many people here on the OSS and we basically had our time to bash and vent...time to move along and not give him and his story the time to be in any lime light.

Thank you all for the clarification. I have now found the other thread which talked about the issue. My thoughts are with the poor victim and his poor family. Based on the type of crime he committed, he should have plenty of opportunity to test his karate theory where he is going. END OF STORY PLEASE.
