Hi Connor Glad you found us, there are tons of helpful info and experience on here. Where about's are you in the world? What's this pre Shodan 1,2 3? Are you saying you are an intermediate Black Belt until you reach a certain age or a Kyu grade? A few organisations require you to go back a grade when reaching 16 or 18 but some believe that reaching Shodan is based on skills, time, effort and spirit - not age. We were discussing this the other day. You will need to put your name in your Signature part of your Profile so it appears on every post. Welcome to the forum.

Hello Connor & welcome. New blood, ha ha, ho ho ,hee hee.. Just kidding, I hope that you find this site & the sharing of experience & knowledge helpful in your growth of Shotokan Karate.. Like Malk, I would be interested to learn a bit more about `pre shodan 1-2-3`. Is this brown belt 1st, 2nd & 3rd kyu. As mentioned not all orgs use the same belt system or rank format, so if you could inform us as to how your system works, we will be learning something.. Looking forward to your input..
