I've been asked by Steve to apologise on his behalf that he hasn't been able to return any PM's or e-mails.
He has been taken into hospital for an emergency hip operation, but he did say he will contact you as soon as he can.
I think you will join with me on wishing Steve well and a quick recovery.

Thanks George,
Yeah, you guys didn't know that Steve is an old 'hippie'. We should wish him a 'hip, hip hooray'! He's a really 'hip' guy. Stevester the 'hipster'. Seriously though, I'm gonna say a prayer that he recovers quickly.
Tom

All the best to dear uncle Steve! Had a "Steve Hyland" moment last night at training (very proud of myself cause I can actually say this now), we had a guest instructor come and was demonstrating a technique, my thought was "Hey we stopped doing that 20 years ago" ;D Go on Steve give the hospital staff hell and get back here quick! All the best

Steve, Best wishes for a speedy recovery. As you know I have had both hips replaced and you have seen me train, this has made such a difference to my karate. Trust it all goes well.
