Was looking through our website today reminiscing over the slideshow pictures (bottom right corner). Once you get past the first half dozen "arty" shots they seem to be a fairly good representation of what (our) karate life is like on a day to day basis. I suspect the warm fuzzy feeling is on a "you had to be there" basis (or the fact that I'm at a particularly hormonal stage of life ). Anyway, just thought I'd share on a quiet Sunday in case any body was interested. They do come up in random order so you may see a shot more than once. Enjoy. link (click here )

Hi Allan, I think the word "link" is a clue Perhaps I could have made it more obvious (and have now done so).

Hi Bob, pretty sure your chief instructor Robin Reid used to be affiliated to BASKA ? We all trained together at the end of the eighties and Robin was guest instructor at my old sensei dojo when I tested for ni-dan . You may like to ask him if he remembers my old instructor George Coates or Mike Dinsdale , Harvey Barker ? It was many years ago of course and I rarely see any of them myself nowadays . I believe Harvey Barker went on to form EASKA.

He's certainly mentioned sensei Barker in past conversation and I'm pretty sure we were affiliated with EASKA when I first started training (which would make sense if he moved from BASKA). I'll ask next time I see him.
