To anyone in that neck of the world - I recommend this Course not only because tis 'the Karate computer' Harry Cook but also as i know that Andrew has a 'surprise' for attendees -. especially so if you are interested in widening your knowledge of MA's other than Karate.

The Bulgarian Handbag as I call it is a martial art in itself. Pavel reckons the kettlebell swing is the nearest you can get to being in a fight, alone. Well 20 circles with the bag (the first time) and all semblance of active rest will fly out the window and you will be on all fours sucking wind. Guaranteed. Next 3 days will be that of pain and that was taking it easy. tried it with large bag of dog food - bag split, i fell on my arse, dog food sprayed over an area size of football field (will never know how it went from room to room) children traumatised, wife in therapy, cat catatonic, dogs lay on backs whining and after two days am still finding dog food pellets in vases, lampshades, centre of toilet roll and my underwear - yeah tis a great form of exercise

We are offering Christchurch karate-ka a special price for the camp, although we would like to we are not in a position to offer it for free. Training will be half price. The Teapot Valley Christian Camp have come to the party as well with a substantial discount for Christchurch people. The cost for 2 nights accom and 2 days training was $200 we can now offer it for $115 (Christchurch people only deal). If you have non-training family members who would like to come up to Nelson for a weekend break they can have two nights accommodation (meals included) for $65. Again this is for Christchurch people only.
