Last nite Mike Bisping beat Mayhem Miller to win the TUF 14 Finale. I was hoping that Mayhem would beat him. He acts like an a$$hole & he spit into Jorge Rivera's corner when they fought. I was hoping Dana would kick him out or at least suspend him for it. I actually got to ask Dana about that incident in person. We had a rally @ Radio City to 'Bring MMA to NY' (a whole other story) & when I asked 'the boss' about Mike he stopped, he was very jovial till that point, signing autographs. His whole demeaner & facial expression changed for a minute & he said "Michael & I had a serious conversation." But that was it. Anyway you can't take the 'W' away from him. He's a good fighter.
Thanks, Tom

You know, I really wanted to see Bisping get a serious wooping. However Mayhem proved to be not all he was cracked up to be. What a terrible punching style & what the hell kind of defence was that? He is a bit crazy no doubt. Having said that, Bisping really showed a superior fighting style & a good defence. Also I`m happy to say that he did show some respect after all was said & done. All except for the `I`m a humble guy` comment ( like hell ). He did show a bit more class than he has been. You know he prided himself in representing the U.K., I think that he certainly could watch his mouth a bit & be a more positive role model. But hey, They can`t all be G.S.P. Paul B

watched the fight with my daughter and a friend who is a student of mine and the only thing I can say is that is what happens when you are killer at Jitsu and not a great stand up fighter, that was the first issue with Miller. Second is his wrestling sucked, If your game plan is to snap a guys arm off you best be able to get the guy to the ground. Secondly, everyone said he gassed out, well you take that kind of abuse to the body and your cardio goes in the shitter. Mike did NOT impress me however. Good boxer but his power is pretty much horrid. Jason stood their and let him hit him like 30 times in the face and he could not put him down... Either Jason has the best chin in MMA or Mike hits like my daughter does, just enough power to cause a purple mark but not enough to put the lights out. Lets face it, mike is not ready for Silva....unless they just want us all to laugh and have a good teme watching Mike go out again!

Dissappointing fight. Speaking of dissappointing - I just heard that GSP tore his ACL & there is going to be a fight for 'interim' champ. Check this out - Georges St-Pierre (22-2 MMA, 16-2 UFC) is officially out of the UFC 143 main event. Dana White recently announced, via his Twitter account, that the welterweight champion had suffered an ACL injury and would be unable to defend his belt against Nick Diaz.
danawhite GSP blown acl will be out for 10 mos. Now Condit vs Diaz for the interim welterweight title on Feb 4th in Las Vegas!! Carlos Condit (27-5 MMA, 4-1 UFC), originally matched up on the card to meet Josh Koscheck, has once again been bumped up to main event status as he battles Nick Diaz for the interim title. The triangle involving Carlos Condit, George St-Pierre and Nick Diaz began at UFC 137 when Condit was set to face B.J. Penn and St-Pierre was due to fight Nick Diaz. The UFC pulled Diaz due to promotional issues and Condit was elevated to main event status but his bout with GSP never happened after the French Canadian suffered a knee injury that forced his withdrawal. Nick Diaz beat B.J. Penn at UFC 137, quickly called out St-Pierre and was awarded this bout, amidst Condit ‘stepping aside’, at UFC 143 whereas Condit was matched up with Josh Koscheck.
Whaddayou guys think about 'interim' champs?
Thanks, Tom

The intrum thing has to happen. First off GSP is out almost a year, no championship in pro fighting should go unchallenged for more than 6-8 months max. The champ can not be a guy that worked hard, won and coasted! Look at what happened to the Strikeforce heavy weight championship!
Its sad GSP can not defend, but if he was on a weak leg to start with its best he take the time to heal up. Besides then, if he can not defend the belt for a year or more they have a championship that can be battled over.
Personally, I say strip him but make him the number one contender when he comes back.
