Hi Alan
2 combinations for starters.
Forward or backward left Gedan Barai Zenkutsu Dachi, step forward right Chudan Soto Uke Zenkutsu Dachi, step back side on to left foot, step out right Kiba Dachi Chudan Empi Uchi, remain in Kiba Dachi attack Jodan Uraken Uchi and switch to Chudan Gyaku Tsuki Zenkutsu Dachi. Sanbon or Gohon depending on space available. For partner work you can workout the role of uke and tori depending which techniques you want offensive or defensive.
Forward or backward left Chudan Shuto Uke Kokutsu Dachi, Chudan or Jodan Mae Geri front (left) foot Kokutsu Dachi, left hand Osae Uke Kokutsu Dachi, step forward right Zenkutsu Dachi nukite to throat. Sanbon or Gohon depending on space available. For partner work ditto.
Best Regards Allan

I think the first post disappeared but can get the gist of the thread...
One of my favourites is stepping forwards hammer fist strike, then step again with upper palm strike to jaw or nose. It's easy to imagine countering a real attack with a barrage of strikes similar to these, but you can't easily practice these in Kumite....
