Hi all been reading the latest SKM which as usual is very good, on the back page is an advert for Haven and that they accommodate for clubs for their competitions,weekend seminars or week long seminars ect... I wasn't aware of this until now has anyone on here done this with their club and if so what was it like and would you do it again??

I haven't done this with a club, but have been there a number of times with the kids on holiday.
Obviously they do stuff like this to try and get more people in when it is quiet (kids at school).
I have stayed at a number of different camps, and the facilities vary, but they are generally pretty good. They have facilities for a lot of sports so there is usually a sports hall as well as swimming pools, plenty of places to eat/drink. The only advice I would give is if you go in the colder months make sure you pay extra to get a caravan with heating (i.e. radiators in every room, not just a fire in the living area) you can have the heating on pretty much 24/7 at no extra cost, otherwise it is freezing :-)
