After about a year's use, thanks to all the sweating, my uniform is now more yellow than white! I'm assuming that over some period, most of the members in this group might have faced this issue? Any tips on how to get the gi sparkling again? Already tried brine, baking soda and washing soda (none was of any use); after today's use, planning vinegar!

Nope.. mine stays a stubbon dirty brown, yellow and grey...
I am not sure I want to have it completely clean... I think the dirt is the only think holding it together...

Hi Deepak
Not sure where you are in the world but we in the UK have a product called Vanish in a pink tube, amazing whiteness.
Best Regards Allan

I've used vanish stain remover spray on the darker bits, also in UK there is glow white which does a good job. Always wary of someone with a glowing white Gi though.... unless it's their 2nd/3rd/4th etc

I agree, a shining white gi is likely to indicate a newbie! This is not my first , but I had paid a bit more than usual for this one, and I am a bit depressed that it's already looking old within just a year! Will look for Vanish-equivalents here in India! An update - vinegar doesn't help

Be vary wary of bleach based products (not sure about vanish without reading the ingredients) as over time they will weaken and rot the seams on your Gi.
