As you are all aware this site is hosted by the Watt family. you have heard me tell you of Mum (Missmykarate) and her heroic fight against serious illness. well my friends life in it's infinite wisdom has taken another bite out of this lovely family and i shall just say that my friend Kim has been asked to fight AGAIN yet another cancer. i implore you - despite the short life of this forum - to acknowledge friendships made and wish George and Kim and thier family our best wishes. i can only ask but i know you will all come through and i know they would appreciate it

I have only met Dod & Kim online, but reading this post has knocked wind out of my sails. I have to admit that holding back a tear is a challenge. It is sad on how cancer can be so merciless & keep attacking good people. Kim is obviously a wonderful wife & mother & Dod a devoted husband & father, my heart goes out to them. Kim may not be able to train anymore but she has certainly has been a positive role model & what a talent she has with her painting. If you haven`t done so, you should check out her paintings of the masters.. Osu Paul B

This is awful... how or why on earth such wonderful people are chosen to suffer such terrible things is beyond anything that I can comprehend. To Kim and family: I sincerely hope that everything gets better; you've pronion yourselves wonderful people, and I look forward to seeing you all, healthy, soon!

George,
There's nothing new to be said at this point that'll help but be aware that our thoughts are with you both and you know where we are if you need us.
Take care

It is never easy hearing news like this. What makes it worse it that I am very lucky to be able to call the Watt family friends. I enjoyed spending the weekend with everyone at the last friendship course. Kim and I hut it off on Facebook before we had even travelled to Steve Hylands house. I can only echo what everyone else has said here. She is a positive lady with a wonderful family round her. They are always in our thoughts and anything they need, we are here to help. What else are friends for.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and your offers of help, it is reassuring to know that there are people willing to rally round if needed.
We are still in shock about the news, but we will get through it.
Life is very unfair at times and testing, but Kim has a strong will and once she gets her head around it and starts to think more positive things will get better.
