Holiday in Okinawa

Looking about for future holidays when we can afford it, was looking around that area and mentioned I would like to one day go to Okinawa, she took a look at the beaches and sights and agreed.

So a few questions...

1. Would you bother
2. Have you been there
3. Would you seek out an intro to get a few training sessions in
4. is there still an etiquette to visiting a Dojo or two?
5. Any must do's like visiting Funakoshi's shrine
6. anything else?

Might take a while to save up and may split it as we have to get 2 flights there.

Mal, good luck with that one. I would love to go to Okinawa. I know nothing of the etiquette about getting to a training session there. Apart from contacting Jessie can I suggest contacting Andre Bertel.
