I'm curious if there is anyone who would be interested in something like this, instead of having people who take note of the score wouldn't it be easier to have a program that does all this? Me and my father will be coding something like that in delphi using access to keep records of kata scores , participants etc.

Would anyone be interested in that?

I believe there is already an app available for iOS that does this.
I have one that does kumite scoring under wkf rules but I'm sure I saw a kata one in the App Store too.

we use an excel spread sheet that does this and it has sped up the whole thing. Its acurate and easy to lay out.
