Kanazawa No Bo Dai and No Bo Sho

Hi.
Are these katas considered traditional or hard style?

I have a more generic query - I've seen the Bo-kata videos on YouTube, but are they a part of Shotokan as taught by Kanazawa? I've not encountered them in the mainstream karate videos of SKIF, hence the query.

Here is a US SKIF newsletter, skifusa.com/newsletters/Fall_2010_Newsletter.pdf. On page 2 they mention Kanazawa on tour and his instruction of no bo dai.

They are part of Kanazawa's Shotokan and are not mainstream. I was just wondering.
