this is my favourite series of clips of traditional Shiai Kumite. and it is far from, as the critics claim - just gyaku tsuki's (and those shown show amazing timing. watch for the clip of competitor 196 - he has his back to you - starting at approx 1.21 to prove my point about variety of technique and skill.
