Hi everyone
My name is James Martin. I'm 32 years old and I'm a little shy of my 20th year in Shotokan Karate. I train with the JKS in England and have my own club.
I've trained with a huge selection of both British and Japanese Karate-ka. I'm usually the guy on a course that is on his own and no one really notices!!
I have contributed to SKM and TSW, run a blog and YouTube channel which seem to be growing daily - so looking forward to adding some discussion here.

welcome, a fellow James no less. Great to see you here. Now, dont be sitting in the corner not participating like at a camp!
Jump in and have some fun.

Hi James, and welcome, just dive in and start posting, there's a good bunch of guys here, very friendly and very helpful, and could you please put your name in the signature box on your profile, it just helps people know who they're talking to, thanks.

There were quite a few James in my class at school and was the most popular name the year I was born and the one after!
I was named after my Grandads' James Thomas and James William. My father in law is James. I have an Uncle James...
I hear it was quite popular in the States to?
Perhaps Paul is less common?

Goodness James, you`re surrounded! Yes a very popular name in north America also. I think certain names have a cycle, years ago I was one of many Paul`s, now it seems that I`m more unique. That`s O.K., I can handle it. Osu Paul B
