As was pointed out in anther post, the distance in the sanban zuki is questionable, however I think that the overall dvd is quite good. The distance is much better in the ippon kumite. One of the highlights to me is showing the old footage of training in Japan with the masters to be & transferring to the same training with the everyday training of the average person in the dojo today. A lot of videos show shining stars & this one shows the average person training. Not everyone does the best technique, but this is real. A lot of notables have a video series or all sorts of other footage available, but there really isn`t that much out there with master Okazaki. Yes a few interviews & a bit of footage from his master camps, but nothing close to being called a thorough representation. It is good to see that he has left a legacy dvd, to go along with his books, Modern Karate & Perfection of Character. Being an avid ISKF karateka to me this is a must have & I have the order form in my hand & am going to order the set tommorow. Maybe if no one else has done so, I will give a more thorough report on my assessment of this Legacy Of A Master dvd series. Although ,I should warn you that my opinion will no doubt, to some seem somewhat biased. Osu Paul B P.S. you will note that in some of the footage, master Yutaka Yaguchi is there & also as a guest master Kanazawa.
