Seems like an interesting forum with some pretty engaging contributors so I decided to jump in.
I no longer practice--lifting weights is a lot easier on my 69 year old joints.
Did JKA and got my dan ranking in Fukuoka, Japan. Later, with Messrs Nishiyama, Ozawa, Ueoka in the states. Ben Otake (Gosoko-ryu). Some escrima, some Brazilian ground grappling (with the Machados), and some more grappling practice at a very elementary level with Aleksei Tchigirinski from the Evil Empire.
No karate because of a bad knee injury in 1972.
That's me. I look forward to dipping in from time to time.
