Tues. nite we trained in boxing. Tonite it was yoko geri, yoko geri, yoko geri & kumite. Yoko geri from zenkutsu dachi, yoko geri with the rear leg, yoko geri with the lead leg, on the heavy bag, on the shield & on each other. Which one do you guys like? Thanks, Tom

On each other....always liked using side thrust kick into someones ribs!

Back to the thread, the only competitor I personally ever witnessed whom could use Yoko Geri consistently in Tournaments (at all levels) front leg, Back Leg, attacking or defending with it was Aidan Trimble One time SKI World Champion and winner of many events.
- he was awesome to watch using it and would either stop people dead in their tracks or send them skidding backwards across the floor and out of the area on their arse. I think there is footage of him doing this - maybe on Youtube, I'm not sure.

I tried this once in competion thinking how clever I was. Got penalised! Some crock excuse about two techniques at once not being allowed. I thought at the time "What the ...". Hence my passion for tournment continued to dwindle.

consecutive scoring points should award an Ippon - not quite sure what you mean about two at once fleur (?) but if delivered shoulda been Ippon!
