Hi Folks, I am considering an hour long open karate lesson in aid of cancer research. It would be for karate-ka and non practitioners alike and all proceeds to go to The Centre For Life in Newcastle who are at the cutting edge of cancer research in the UK at present.
I am sure most of us have or will be touched by this dreadful disease at some point in our lives but year on year they make huge strides forward in attempts to beat it.
if you can lend your support in any way I would be very grateful. At present it is only in the planning stage and may run in conjunction with the annual martial arts festival here in Sunderland but if enough people express an interest I can get on with publicising it properly. either leave a reply here or visit us on Lyons karate club on facebook a nd click "like"
