Hi All. We have a small shotokan group here in the midlands of Ireland. On a good night, we might have 6 adults - on a better night maybe only 2................. I'm not really developing my karate at the moment (not even doing maintenance karate these days) - life is kind of getting in the way; but if I WAS, I would be trying to figure out more about tekki and ways of moving outside and around an attack, and blocking with the rear hand and ............ loads of stuff. Looking forward to learning a lot. Colin

Hi Colin welcome, Tekki eh?, very underrated Kata, as important as Kanku-dai to my way of thinking.

Hi Colin, welcome. I know what your saying, I have a hall one night a week for me and my son to train together, I often invite others over to join us but am always quite pleased when they don't turn up as we'd have to tone down what we do and spoil the fun
