Just found out about this forum from Steve Hyland who invited me, so you only have him to blame. A little background for you as being 57 there is a lot to tell. Started out in boxing at a young age and progressed to close quarter protection. Came to karate late in life but got hooked studying Shotokan & Gojuryu which has now developed into my own blend. Been featured in training media and self-defense books, still teaching and learning which is why I love it, everyday a new adventure and something to learn
