I would like to record my special thanks to Bernie Rose ( and his lovely wife Enid) whom Kindly had me as a guest last weekend. Wow - does this man have an extraordinary and beautiful archive of very skilfully taken Karate Photographs going back several decades. It was mesmorising!
I also had the opportunity to view many unseen photographs - a Joy.
Also a great opportunity to see my dear friend and 'best man' Dave Pridgeon who attended the class I did for Bern and some of his students - Excellent! Sorry I was late (bloody trains) and sorry I then went an hour over the prescribed class time - but no-one left when given the chance to do so at the pre-arranged end of class time - so it appears they might have either been enjoying it OR were too polite to leave early LOL! ;D
and Bernard - I have thought over what you said and I am not sure whether I should be very flattered or owe you a slap - we can't all be built like racing snakes like yourself - Karate is for everyone if you make it work! HAHAHA!
