TO ALL: Whilst fully accepting that ALL Martial Arts Study carries with it the risk of injury, that risk is often relevant to the amount and study and training that the Individual concerned is able to draw upon. Therefore, when posting advise and instruction in relation to training can we all be conscious of the fact that this is an 'open' site and Non-Members of any age can view the information posted. Therefore, please be conscious that you make sure that you are VERY clear about posting all relevant safety information and advice (including clear warnings of Danger) if you are posting information that could be deemed 'dangerous' to practice or participate in. I hope you all get the point and if unsure please ask! Thank You.

while I dont know were this came from...really....I say its a great point.
As some of you know I "play a bit" with Jiu Jitsu to round out training that I see may need to be augmented with ground work. Now my whole study thus far is in getting my old arse up off the ground and submissions tend not to be much of something I am looking at.
However, I have noted the tragedy that occured in the states were a young lad choked his brother out after watching it done in the UFC or something and did not let go of his brother till it was far to late. He killed his brother while trying out a jitsu move. Sad day indead and I am sure we dont want something like this to happen because someone tries something we "teach them"via the net.
210% behind you here steve.
