I have an old karate gi. It has been through hot water and the dryer a few times. So, will bringing it to the dry cleaner cause it to shrink more? Got a terrible stain and need to get rid of it.

Blood stain? I would try one of these spray on stain removers first as they may not be able to shift it but will still charge you. I use one now and again around the neck area and where the belt rubs. Can't believe i'm giving washing tips out on a forum...... ;D

If it was a bloodstain never wash or soak it in hot water it wont come out. you need to soak it in cold water and a washing detergent of your choice this should work better!
